In september MoMu presented Maskerade, Make-up & Ensor, exploring James Ensor's ideas of masquerade, (false) coquetry, seduction, deception, artificiality, and transience in a contemporary context.
The exhibition celebrates the "painters of fashion"—the craftsmanship and boundless creativity of makeup and hair artists - through a multimedia experience where light, color, art, fashion, and makeup converge.
We organized the opening of the exhibition.
